EU legislation gives good manufacturing practice guidelines for food contact materials

All the exporters of food products or working with all materials and substances that are intended to come in contact with food can now ensure safety and quality of their products. EU legislation has provided with good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards for food contact materials that would demonstrate safety of the manufactured food products.
These GMP guidelines for food contact materials would be applicable to manufacturers within the EU region. For manufacturers from other regions can refer to these guidelines as a best practice and incorporate these into their business to ensure production of safe and quality food products. This will also help in getting a competitive advantage when opting for better opportunities in the EU market.
