GEs FlexFactory (TM) biomanufacturing platform selected by JHL Biotech for Taiwan facility

JHL Biotech has selected GE Healthcares FlexFactory (TM) biomanufacturing platform with all the installations completed for JHL’s Research center and manufacturing unit at Hsinchu in Taiwan. This new manufacturing plant is set to begin by the end of this year and would follow current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) standards.
This unit in Taiwan would be involved in cell line and process development, cGMP manufacturing in pre-clinical and early-clinical processes. It would also be considered as a proving ground for the company with regards to technology transfer. With the help of FlexFactory it is possible for JHL Biotech to develop manufacturing processes before launching manufacturing operations on a full scale in Taiwan facility.

GE Healthcares FlexFactory is a biomanufacturing platform that enables manufacturers to establish biomanufacturing capacity easily and quickly in the existing or the new manufacturing unit.
