The standards for dried oregano, mint and coconut water are released by the FSSAI. These regulations has to be adhered by all food business operators till 01 July 2020. There was no stringent standard initially available for fruits and coconut water.
The sodium caseinate and maltodextrin limits must be known by the companies if they need to involve in selling coconut water.
Similarly, greyish green to olive green color must be there for dried leaves including oregano and mint. The dried leaves must have characteristic flavor and odour. There must not be any contamination through moulds, dead or living insects which can be visible using naked eye.
