Danone India, the packaged foods global giant, recently declared a complete revamp of its adult nutrition portfolio. It aims to bring up Protinex variants with zero added sugar.
The company is dedicated to its commitment to the "Eat Right Movement" started by FSSAI, where it proposed to decrease the sugar content of its products in the complete portfolio. Danone India aims to reduce its products' sugar content by 20% by the end of 2020.
As the consumers world over and in India are turning health conscious, their food choices are changing towards products with lesser sugar content and rich in nutrients.
Aptamil, Neocate, Farex, Protinex, Dexolac, and Nusobee are the main products in Danone India's nutrition portfolio.
